Ten working days from the moment we have what we need from you: logo, photos, copy, services or menu. The system is built to be fast. If we're missing things, the clock pauses until we have them.

Less than you'd think. We'll send you a short brief asking for: your business name and contact details, opening hours and address, around six to ten photos, a list of your services or menu items, and a paragraph or two about who you are. Most clients send everything across in an evening.

That's fine. We can use high-quality stock images that actually look like your business, and we can recommend a local photographer if you want originals. Either way, the site won't look like it.

On the Complete plan, yes. We set you up with a simple dashboard where you can edit your menu, services, hours, and photos without touching any code. On the Essential plan, small changes are billed at €75/hour (15 minutes minimum) and we usually turn them around the same day.

Yes. Fully. The domain is yours, the content is yours, and if you ever decide to move on, we hand over a clean copy of everything. No lock-in, no data hostage situation.

The site goes offline at the end of the paid period. You can re-activate any time. If you want to take it elsewhere instead, we'll export the content and hand over a tidy package, same as if you'd asked for it on day one.

Honestly, for some businesses they're fine. The catch is the time it takes to build something that doesn't look like a Wix template, and the monthly fees that creep up to €30+ once you add a custom domain and basic features. With Kelvi you get a properly designed site, the same monthly cost, and you don't have to learn anything. If you'd rather DIY, we'll happily say so.

WordPress can be brilliant in the right hands. It can also be a security and maintenance nightmare: slow, vulnerable to plugin conflicts, expensive to fix when things break. Kelvi sites are built on a different, simpler technology that's faster, more secure, and cheaper to run. The only reason to choose WordPress over what we offer is if you genuinely need a particular plugin we can't replicate.

Every Kelvi site is built with SEO basics covered: proper page structure, fast load times, mobile optimisation, structured data, sitemap, the lot. We'll also help you set up a free Google Business Profile, which is the single biggest lever for local search. Whether you rank for competitive terms depends on a lot of factors beyond the site itself, but you'll be on the map and findable from day one.

It's a Local Enterprise Office grant of up to €2,500 (50% of approved costs) for Irish small businesses to develop their online presence. Most Kelvi clients qualify: under 10 employees, trading at least six months, under €2 million in turnover. We'll help you put together the application and there's no extra charge for that.

We're built for brochure sites: the kind that make people want to ring you, walk in, or book by email. If you need a full booking system, online ordering, or proper e-commerce, we'll point you toward a specialist who does that properly. We'd rather refer you elsewhere than half-build something we don't specialise in.

Yes. Every site we build uses privacy-friendly analytics (no tracking cookies, no consent banner needed), keeps form submissions secure and short-lived, and ships with a privacy policy and terms of use template that match the way the site actually works. If you process customer data in other ways, like bookings, accounts or newsletters, we'll make sure that's covered too.
